Google promotion: teach you how to do Google search advertising

Google Ads is the most important form of advertising for Google search engine and also the most basic form of advertising for Google. It is widely used in B2B and B2C industries, especially in B2B industry. Google keyword advertising is widely used.

Before creating Google search ads, first understand the account structure and composition of Google Ads ads:

For a novice in Google ADS, it is best to prepare before the ad goes online and then add it to the Google ADS backend: prepare a list of keywords in an Excel spreadsheet and divide them into groups. For each group, write about 3 advertising slogans, additional advertising information, etc.

Main steps:

1. Find keywords: Use Google Keyword Planner;

2. Keyword classification: Classify according to website structure classification, keyword type, Google group recommendation, etc.;

3. Write advertising slogans: Each group writes about 3 advertising slogans;

4. Create an ad campaign: upload the content prepared in the first three parts to the Google ADS backend;

Below, we will use dress as an example to demonstrate the entire process of building a search ad.

The first step is to go into Google Keyword Planner, use the word dress as the search keyword, and download keyword suggestions, making sure to select the country and language.

The second step is to classify the downloaded keywords by topic (the reason for grouping is to improve the correlation between the keywords, slogans, and landing pages in the group. It is recommended to classify them according to website structure classification, keyword type, Google grouping recommendations, etc.); one of the classified groups can be used as an advertising group under an advertising campaign.

For example, some of the products on my website are wedding dresses. Using the words exported from the keyword planner, I can filter out the words containing wedding dresses to create an ad group, and so on.

The third step is to write targeted advertising slogans and additional advertising information according to the advertising group category. It is recommended to embed core keywords and use wildcards {KeyWord: } in the advertising slogan;

Taking wedding dress as an example, write wedding dress in the text description of the slogan, highlight the advantages of our product or company in the description, and use the product catalog page of wedding dress as the slogan landing page.

Step 4. After the above preparations are completed, add an ad campaign in the Google Ads backend, set the budget, target countries, etc. Follow the steps below to set up

The steps are as follows

4.1 Click the blue "+" sign

4.2 Select Add a New Campaign

4.3 Select the target. B2C usually choose sales.

4.4 Select the ad type, select Search, fill in the website URL, and click Continue.

4.5 Fill in the name of the campaign and select the network to be advertised. Only check the search advertising network.

4.6 Set the delivery country and delivery language. The delivery language is the browser language set by the user.

4.8 Added additional information. Additional information can be added at the account level, campaign level, and ad group level, so additional information can be added when setting up the campaign, or you can add account-level additional information after adding the ad group slogans. At this point, we click Save and Continue

4.9 Add ad groups and keywords to campaigns and set bids.

4.10 Fill in the advertising slogan. After saving and continuing, one search campaign is now online. If you want to add more campaigns, follow the same steps.

4.11 After all the ad campaigns are added, add additional information and a search ad will be launched. Additional information is divided into account-level extensions, campaign extensions, and ad group extensions. Account-level items will be added to all ad groups in the account, while campaign-level items will only be added to specific campaigns, and the same applies to ad groups.
