The annual Cat Show, organized by the UK animal charity Cats Protection, celebrates everything related to cats. The nominated cats are not only adorable but also contribute to their owners' lives in various ways. Let's take a look at some of this year's finalists.

This little cat, named Chicken, has a very close relationship with its 11-year-old owner, Elliot. When Elliot is stressed or anxious, Chicken stays close by his side and soothes him with its gentle purring. Chicken has been shortlisted for the "Forever Best Cat Friend Award."

Archie, a kitten, is Maddie's best friend. Maddie has kidney disease and needs treatment five times a week. Archie has been nominated for the "Most Caring Kitten Award" – an award given to cats that have a positive impact on their owner's health or well-being.

Max (the kitten) is Jessica's perfect companion, as Jessica suffers from several ailments, including epilepsy. Max makes sure Jessica gets help whenever she needs it. Max has also been nominated for the "Forever Best Cat Friend Award," an award specifically for friendships between cats and children.

Spuds, the kitten, was also nominated for the "Most Caring Kitten Award" after alerting and notifying its owner, Brendan, that there was a fire in their house.

Millie has been nominated for the "Outstanding Rescue Cat Award," an award specifically for kittens adopted from rescue organizations. Millie helped her owner, Jessica, when she was going through a very difficult time.

Murdoch was originally shy, but he overcame his shyness and became the perfect companion for his owner, Gwen. Murdoch was also nominated for the "Outstanding Rescue Cat Award".

The "Cat Colleagues Award" is given to cats that help their owners with their work. This year's nominee is Dylan, a cat who helps his owner Rebecca with her college tutoring work.
