Summary of the 6th offline open class of Mobile Developer Service Alliance (MDSA): Best Practices for Mobile Business-Level Operation and Maintenance

On August 29 , under the clear sky of parade blue, the sixth offline open class of 51CTO MDSA opened as scheduled in Utopia in Shuangjing, Beijing. Hundreds of IT operation and maintenance workers, APP developers, game engineers and technology enthusiasts from mobile Internet companies listened to and participated in the technical feast of this offline open class.

Mobility has become an unstoppable trend. The IT operation and maintenance market is moving towards the era of mobile operation and maintenance. The pressure on mobile developers to support the operation and maintenance of application systems and optimize the architecture is increasing day by day. Based on the confusion in everyone's work, 51CTO specially invited enterprise-level business operation and maintenance experts from the front line of mobile, Yu Jinqiu, the operation and maintenance architect from Didi Taxi, Hao Haijun, the head of data statistics at Bailu, and Feng Lei, the architect of Sina Weibo, to make wonderful sharing. The open class officially started at 2pm. The first speaker was Yu Jinqiu, an operation and maintenance architect of Didi Taxi, who was mainly responsible for the DevOps team and building a unified automatic operation and maintenance platform. His speech was titled "Didi's Automated Operation and Maintenance Practice", and he shared how Didi operated thousands of machines. The content mainly introduced the operation and maintenance problems and challenges faced by Didi, as well as specific automated operation and maintenance ideas and practices.

Didi's operation and maintenance faces three challenges: first, product lines are homogeneous, how to reuse from the operation and maintenance perspective? Second, traffic suddenly increases, how to quickly expand capacity? Third, business changes frequently, how to maintain service stability? The operation and maintenance ideas for these three challenges are centered on service nodes, not machines; service nodes contain operation and maintenance related resources, including machines, initialization strategies, etc.; resource changes are automatically perceived and executed on the corresponding servers.

The next speaker was Mr. Hao Haijun, who is the head of Egret Data Statistics and is mainly responsible for the statistics of Egret Open Platform games and engine software. His speech was titled "Rapid Deployment and Tuning of Game Servers". He first introduced the server architecture of Egret Open Platform, and then introduced the rapid deployment and service monitoring of game servers, and then the rapid deployment of game server and client codes, and finally the game database backup, game server log monitoring and tuning procedures. It helps developers understand the business operation and maintenance process of the entire game server from a global perspective.

The server rapid deployment system explained by Mr. Hao is based on Linux Centos 6.5 version. Various environment variables and virtual host configuration and other services used can be automatically installed within 10 minutes. If you want to automatically build the following product support, you can use some simple configurations, one-click packaging, and make all the installation packages run.

The third speaker was Mr. Feng Lei, an architect of the Technical Support Department of Sina Technology China R&D Center, who mainly engages in the construction of mobile application platforms. Mr. Feng opened the speech with a little story of wisdom in life, which won rounds of applause from everyone. The title of his speech was "Interpreting the Pain of DNS Hijacking in Enterprise Operation and Maintenance - HttpDNS ", which introduced the main problems solved by HTTPDNS , the three modules of the HttpDNSLib library, the HttpDNS interaction process, the responsibilities of all packages, the principle of the intelligent evaluation module, etc. The summary of all the problems encountered by everyone from the beginning of the design to the present is full of pure dry goods!

Teacher Feng pointed out that the user access anomalies caused by LocalDNS can be attributed to three categories: 1. Domain name cache; 2. Resolution forwarding; 3. LocalDNS recursive export NAT . Then, the existing solutions are: 1. Real-time monitoring + business promotion; 2. Bypass the automatic allocation of DNS , use 114dns or Google public DNS ; 3. Completely abandon the domain name and build your own link for traffic scheduling. At the same time, Teacher Feng also looked forward to the future development prospects of HttpDNS : 1. Intelligent dynamic node acceleration; 2. Monitoring system integration, dynamic node switching; 3. Fault load balancing switching; 4. International network access point routing optimization; 5. Network library ( HTTP2 integration).
