So, why are foldable screen phones so popular but not so popular?

1. Expensive

The earliest Huawei and Samsung folding screens cost 20,000 yuan, and the previous Xiaomi folding screens cost 10,000 yuan, which is really too expensive. Although OPPO's new phone is cheaper this time, it is still expensive and the configuration is not top-notch.

2. Heavy

Folding screen phones are relatively thick and heavy. When folded, they feel as heavy as a brick. It is very inconvenient to hold and it causes trouble for yourself.

3. There is a problem with the screen ratio

The small screen on the outside is too small to be practical, and the large screen on the inside is not in a good proportion, close to a square. When watching videos, there are large black borders on the top and bottom, and the actual display area is not larger than that of ordinary mobile phones. It can only display more content in some special scenes.

To sum up, the technology of foldable screen mobile phones is powerful, but they are expensive, impractical, and flashy, so not many people buy them.
