Is this a community or just a place for some people to fantasize about?

1. Is it the group owner’s goal or the group’s goal?

To use the words of Li Jiaoshou , a community is a group of people working together to achieve a goal.

Creating a group is like starting a business . The motivation behind it is very important. When building a community, the group owner should first determine the sense of belonging of the target. If you are not sure whether this goal is your own or shared by group members, I advise you not to create it yet.

Previously, after being recommended by a big self-media figure , I used a system that can synchronize WeChat pictures and texts. The software itself is very easy to use and can synchronize several self-media platforms with one click, which is very convenient. However, since it is in the internal testing stage, there are many bugs such as the inability to modify topic tags.

In order to solve this problem, the official created a group, and I was dragged into it. In fact, this is a good thing for both parties. In addition to being able to make friends in the group, users can also continuously improve their work efficiency in the cycle of experience-feedback-optimization, and the company's products can also be continuously optimized.

It's just that the group owner's behavior during the connection process was a bit offensive, perhaps because he was too possessive. After joining the group, the group owner reminded us of the shortcomings of the submitted software in various forms. Any information other than this was considered advertising. This is probably a common problem in all major WeChat groups .

Think about it, the growth of self-media people requires a lot of accumulation of articles and sorting out of knowledge structures. The ultimate goal is to publish their articles on major platforms so that more people can recognize their views, thereby satisfying their vanity and monetization needs.

2. Provide practical content in advance to increase group members’ participation

Teacher XXX likes to teach some PPT production skills in his group, from the correct writing of basic titles at all levels to more advanced animation production. 5. About the advertisements that have to be mentioned

The reason why you can see a lot of advertisements immediately after joining the group, in addition to the inconsistency of goals mentioned above, must be that the group owner wrote the group joining notification in a stiff way. Every time a new person comes in, everyone has to be informed @. If a group of 500 people is really created, people who join the group earlier will be harassed more than 400 times. If I have an advertisement that I have to post, I will definitely add my group friends as personal friends one by one before posting it. At most I will be kicked out, but anyway I have already gained the connections and publicity, so there is no loss.
