During the operation process, we often have to write various project operation plans . Many times, when we look at planning companies and online cases, the operational plans are very detailed and complicated. Many people who are new to operations don’t dare to write them and don’t know where to start. In fact, in my experience, in many companies, most operational plans do not need to be complicated, and the boss does not have time to look at them. This is the difference between ideal and reality. We often like to pursue ideal perfection and ignore the actual needs. For most companies, for a plan you only need to make your leader or boss quickly understand the reasons why you want to do this, your goals (value), budget, strategy, and how to execute it. Or you can just refer to the 5W2H principle. Many companies I know are striving to be efficient, and they don’t write anything that can be avoided, striving to be concise and clear. There is no problem with the plan, just prepare your own execution plan in detail. In my opinion, what the boss wants to see most is your ideas. If a plan is dozens of pages long and the boss still can't understand your ideas after reading it, I don't think he will be very interested. If the idea is clear and the boss is interested, I think you don't need to write more in the proposal. The boss will take the initiative to discuss it with you. Therefore, the general operation plan can be directly as follows: 1 Reasons for operating the project (background) Don’t write too much about your background, as it’s all nonsense. Especially if you write a generic “high-end” background that you find on the Internet, the boss will just pass it by. It would be best to have data from previous corresponding projects, or sorted data at the current stage, which is intuitive and clear, so the boss can tell there is a problem at a glance. To put it bluntly, it means telling your boss why you want to do this project. What you say is a trend or something is not very useful. Just take a look at the data. Otherwise, you can collect a few of the closest peers and show them to your boss, and tell him that others are far ahead and you haven't done it yet. 2 Project Purpose That is, what effect is achieved and what value is generated. There will generally be direct effects and long-term value as well as some invisible impacts, so it’s best to take them all into consideration. This involves the quantification of goals. The objectives must be quantified, as this is the most intuitive measurement standard. Don’t say you don’t know how much to quantify. You don’t even know what amount of data you want to achieve. Do you still expect your boss to set goals for you? 3 Operational Strategy and Execution This is the key section. You should write clearly what you plan to do and how you plan to do it. Don’t be scared when you see the word “strategy”. Strategy is not just the strategy of large brands, nor is it the strategy explained in many authoritative expert articles. The reality is that in an enterprise, for example, if you want to organize an event, do Baidu promotion, publish soft articles, promote sales, or create H5 creative ideas, these can all be considered small strategies. Next is the execution details table of the entire project and the project progress table, which lists what each person will do and the time schedule, including the responsible persons. You must make sure to make all the details clear here to avoid chaos and having everything come to you. A brief execution table is as follows. This is relatively simple and suitable for projects with a short cycle and few execution details. 

 The table does not need to be in a professional version, it can be adjusted according to corporate practices and project requirements, for example: 

 4 Resource Support The support here includes support from the department, support from relevant promotion channels, and support from the boss himself. Of course, what needs to be informed in detail is the budget support. You should always tell us how much money you need, and don't ask for it afterwards. The initial budget must have a detailed budget plan, planning how much to spend and where to spend. Timely improvements must be made during the project implementation process. All financial expenditures need to be recorded in the table in a timely manner. The expenses of other collaborative departments must also be counted as soon as possible. After the project is completed, a detailed expense list must be produced and reconciled in a timely manner. Okay, the simplest operation plan can basically be written like this, and it can be optimized according to different companies. In short, the other party must be able to quickly understand your ideas and goals after reading a plan, otherwise it will be useless no matter how long it is. Just imagine if a project manager is messy, who would dare to do the project?
