Why is the website K-ed? The reason why the website is K-ed: it turns out to be these SEO common sense that are easily overlooked

Recently, many customers have consulted me and asked me whether I can build a certain website and how much it will cost?

I briefly analyzed the other party's website and found that it had been blocked by Baidu.

How can I know if my website has been blocked by Baidu?

This is also a question that students often ask me. Here I will give you the simplest method:

Directly search the URL of this website on Baidu. If no records are found, it means that this website has been blocked by Baidu.

Here another student asked: "What if it is a new domain name?"

If it is a new domain name, then there has never been a website, so how can it be blocked? This question itself is problematic.

So what is the reason why these websites are blocked?
Through a lot of research on my clients’ websites, I found that there are some common points, which are common sense that is often overlooked by SEOs:

The first common sense: Although we know that websites cannot post illegal links, we still cannot resist the temptation and post them.
There are quite a lot of such customers. As the website has some traffic, some gambling companies will come to us. I hope to put gambling ads on the website, and the monthly payment is several times that of Baidu Alliance. Under the inducement of such interests, website managers or SEO personnel may not be able to resist the temptation and end up posting illegal links.
The search engine can quickly identify illegal links on the website and will not give you any chance to escape and will directly K out the website.
Therefore, we must not seek short-term benefits and destroy the website that we have worked hard to build with a lot of time and money. If you know how to do the math, this should be an unprofitable speculative behavior.

The second common sense: Even though we know that search engines will crack down on collected content, we still collect content and publish it to save trouble.

I remember that one time in my community, someone sent his website keyword ranking trend chart to the group. I would like to ask you why the ranking of his website is unstable and keeps fluctuating. Then I suggested that he send the included trend charts to the group as well. So he did. When the results were posted, I found that the inclusion of his website was extremely unstable. I suggested that he start with inclusion first and make the website inclusion stable first. Then he said that the content of his website was collected, so it was unstable. He knew that search engines would crack down on collected content, but since it was very difficult for him to create content on his own, in order to save trouble, he finally resorted to content collection and then published the collected content. His situation is the current situation of most SEOs or webmasters. Since I can’t afford an editor and I’m too busy to write original content every day, I can only collect content. Although I know that I will eventually be discovered by Baidu and kicked out, I don’t care anymore. It’s like a girl who knows that eating chocolate and fatty meat will make her fat, but she just can’t resist the temptation and starts eating chocolate and fatty meat. As an SEO personnel of this type, I suggest that you first strengthen your self-control training. Or hire an SEO coach. Why do you need a coach for fitness or weight loss? It is tailor-made for those who lack self-control.

The third common sense: in order to deceive users into downloading and earn download fees, they give them the wrong installation package.
Baidu Search launched Qingfeng Algorithm 2.0 in early May, which permanently bans apps that deceive users into downloading.

1. The actual downloaded resources do not match the requirements

Example (1): The web page title is described as a novel download, but the downloaded content is an APP;

The actual download does not match the requirements

Example (2): The page title describes APP1 download, but what is actually downloaded is APP2.

The actual download does not match the requirements

2. Example of providing a download link but no download resource on the actual site (1): The website page title contains download resources such as game downloads and APP downloads, but when the user clicks to download, the page directly prompts "No resource available";

No download resources available

Example (2): The website page title description contains download resources such as game downloads and APP downloads, but when the user clicks the download button, they are directly redirected to other sites.

Jump to other resources

The fourth common sense: users stay for less than 10 seconds and jump to an irrelevant website.
In order to make money, some webmasters, once their website has traffic, will directly redirect users to an advertising page within less than 10 seconds of visiting the website. Force users to watch ads and hope that they will complete the transaction online. In fact, most users close the website directly after discovering that they have been deceived. The search engine quickly discovered that the website had made a jump and the content of the jump was not very relevant, so the website was soon K-ed out.

The fifth common sense: over-optimization, a large number of internal links to the homepage of the website.

This common sense is often easily overlooked by experienced webmasters with SEO experience. Because they relied on this operation method to survive until Baidu launched the Hurricane algorithm last year. The longest one lasted for 8 years. There is a website with a very large amount of traffic. I also know the person in charge of this website, so I will not mention the name of the website here. Before Baidu launched the Hurricane algorithm, traffic peaked at millions. This website was kicked off by Baidu because of its large-scale collection, but this is not the only reason. When I opened this website later, I found that its homepage had a large number of internal links. If you are not an SEO expert, you can’t see the problem at all. How many outbound links are there? More than the four major portals. How could it be possible for a small vertical website to have more outbound links on its homepage than the four major portals? Isn’t this an abuse of the homepage’s authority? I hope the person in charge of this website can make some adjustments after reading this article. Maybe he still doesn't know what mistake he made. Of course there are many other errors, I won’t list them all here.

Therefore, the level of SEO needs to stand the test of time. The reason why I come out to do SEO training is to popularize correct SEO concepts so that everyone’s website will never be K-ed out.
