Why did Apple lock the rankings for the second time in the new year?
On the morning of January 13, the keyword search rankings and search association word analysis list were released; at noon, the search association word analysis list was released . It can be seen that the ranking was locked on January 11 mainly to adjust the search association word algorithm. Regarding how to make the adjustments specifically, there will be a detailed analysis below. In this regard, Wen Gongzi and his peers in the industry conducted an in-depth analysis and came to the following conclusions: ① Generally speaking, intervening in ASO is to search for specified keywords to download, which Apple believes is effective . On January 9, Apple invalidated the volume of this behavior, so it was concluded that manipulating the popularity of search association words is not the same as interfering with ASO ; ② Usually, although downloading behavior by searching for a certain keyword will increase the popularity, it is very difficult to quickly increase it to 10,000+ in a short period of time, and the required volume is as high as millions. This method of operation is very inefficient in influencing popularity ; ③ Some time before the ranking was locked, someone was buying up a large number of second-hand Apple accounts on the market , and the team that bought the second-hand accounts was the team that operated the search association words; ④ The operation method is based on Apple's loopholes, and the second-hand accounts are used to search for keywords and click on them instead of downloading them, and the clicked product is not the same (analysis and speculation, the specific conclusions are yet to be verified) .
