Douyin operation: How to create a Douyin account? Free disclosure of 4 tips and tricks.

Tik Tok, as the leader of short video self-media, has always been favored by internet celebrities and self-media big Vs from all walks of life, all of whom want to get a piece of the pie.

Thus, I began the long journey of content creation. However, after persisting for a while, I found that there was an established habit in the circle, which is to make yourself popular first, buy hot products, and then create content.

In this regard, I want to say that you are not playing TikTok, you are letting TikTok play you.

I, a new media person, will share with you today how to play TikTok and play (operate) TikTok seriously.

To be honest, Tik Tok has become very popular all over the country since its launch.

However, as a self-media joke teller, I never learned about it until I encountered this new job not long ago.

I was originally going to be an editor, but since I work very fast every day and have a lot of spare time, I discussed with my boss and decided that we should also do TikTok.

If it fails, just treat it as a test. What if it succeeds?

1. The purpose of making TikTok

1. Brand exposure.

Our company is a diversified enterprise integrating financial technology and culture. If we can have a good presence on Douyin, it will also help to enhance the visibility of our company.

2. Attract fans.

The purpose of attracting fans is simple: to pave the way for the future and lay a solid foundation for monetization.

3. I want to be an internet celebrity.

An editor who doesn’t want to be an internet celebrity is not a good joke teller. Although I am not good-looking, I have talent.

What if I become famous? What if some blind person takes a fancy to my talent? While being an internet celebrity, you can also market yourself at the same time. How awesome is that?

2. Strategies for Douyin

At the beginning, because of the desire for quick success, I accepted all kinds of suggestions and imitated the various forms of those internet celebrities.

For example, I would try to post something on WeChat, or to collaborate with others, or to follow hot topics. Then, after a few days of posting it, the highest number of likes was less than a hundred.

I was devastated, and from then on, I resolutely proposed to use a live-action version.

My strategy is to make people feel good within 15 seconds.

A: The content design copy is mainly based on workplace content, specifically targeting users' itchy and painful points.

What is common in the workplace is being taken advantage of but not knowing how to refuse

For example:

A colleague asks you to help with her work, and it becomes a habit. How should you deal with this situation?

This kind of thing is very common in the workplace. Most people think that since we are all colleagues, they should just help each other. They don’t know how to refuse, and end up making themselves a big shot or even an enemy...

This kind of content tickles the lazy people's itch and pokes the pain points of those who don't understand rejection.

When the video shows what everyone wants to say but holds back, the camera will zoom in, and there is no need for exaggerated performances.

Just magnify something that you normally don’t take seriously, and everyone will feel it is real, resonate with it, feel refreshed, and naturally pay attention to you.

Add colorful subtitles to your videos

This is very important. In a 15-second video, if you want to narrate a small event clearly, the speaking speed will be faster, but it will not be so clear for users to hear. Adding subtitles will improve the viewing quality for users.

Moreover, the sharp contrast of subtitles will give people a strong impact, stimulate the user's viewing emotions, and enhance the user's "cool" experience, which will naturally give you a thumbs up.

B: Video title original

At the beginning, I fell into a misunderstanding and thought that titles with some nouns that were popular on TikTok would become popular.

Later I found that it was not feasible when I ran it myself, so I used some video themes as titles, or used some sentences that everyone would be interested in to attract users, and the effect was really good.

I personally think that this has something to do with Tik Tok’s mechanism of encouraging originality.

For example:

Should we treat new employees to a meal after the probation period? What rules?

I'm not a technical flow, I'm a mudslide...

The first is originality. Although it is not marked as original, few people post the same content on Douyin, and this title is also of interest to everyone. If it has both of the above two points, it will pass the review quickly and attract traffic.

The second content has other scenes, but no office scene, so it can be considered pseudo-original, but it wins because of the "mudslide" in the title. This kind of word can easily arouse everyone's interest, and it passed the review quickly, and the traffic is also constantly coming in.

C: Push time is staggered to avoid peak hours

Some people upload videos around 8 a.m., 12 p.m., 3 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m. based on user habits, saying that the effect will be better.

I didn't think about it at the time and just followed the trend and pushed it out at these times. After sending it out, there was no good response and the video didn't even pass the review.

Later, we adjusted the video upload time according to our own working hours, pushing it after about 5:50 pm and before 6 pm every day. Almost all of them were approved quickly, and the traffic was much higher than before.

Think about the reasons:

Review takes time, and most users upload at those peak times, so the chances of being rejected are naturally high. Even high-quality videos can be easily rejected because there are too many competitors.

However, during the time when everyone is ignoring you, your pass rate will be higher because you have fewer opponents.

D. Maintain fan interaction

Like all comments that are consistent with the theme of the video, and reply to the first comment to increase user activity. This will also encourage people to forward the video so that the video can be exposed again.

Moreover, when interacting, fans can also provide you with some materials, which is of great help to us in shooting videos.

For example, the content of this car rental:

This video initially had 30,000 to 40,000 hits and dozens of likes, and then the number of likes slowly increased, from 90, to 100, to 300, to 1,000, to 3,000. Now this video has over 180,000 hits and over 5,000 likes.

As long as the comments are consistent with the topic we are expressing, I will like and reply to them. If users have good suggestions, I will also comment and call on everyone to push them up. This will further increase user enthusiasm and activity.

Because there has been continuous interaction, there has always been traffic coming in. Currently, this account is still 20 or so away from having 1,000 fans.

As soon as you look at this data, you will definitely say that I am not successful. I don’t think so. I like slow and steady. At least the path I’m taking is right, such as content and presentation.

The areas that need improvement are shooting techniques and appearance (ps: since I’m the sloppy guy who appears in almost all the videos, I know it’s not good but I still don’t change it, resulting in low video quality and slow fan growth), I will slowly improve them in the future.

If you think what I said is okay, please give me a thumbs up and help me fulfill my dream of becoming an internet celebrity.

I don’t know if you have gained anything from it. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t. You can just laugh it off. If you think it’s good, you can share your thoughts in the comment section.
