The following is the latest traffic ranking of 59 mainstream information flow advertising platforms in October.

This issue of the list is divided into two parts: monthly active and crowd portrait data of each information flow platform, and mobile terminal data ranking . The overall data can be used to infer the traffic trends in November and December, and provide a reference for more accurate targeting of information flow advertising.

Let’s take a look at the overall data performance of the major information flow platforms last month:

According to the latest monthly active data of the overall ranking in October, among the 59 mainstream information streaming media platforms counted, 26 platforms maintained year-on-year growth, while 33 platforms declined year-on-year ; the traffic fluctuations on most platforms were small, while the traffic fluctuations on some platforms were large.

Let’s take a detailed look at the data performance of each dimension of each major platform.

Interpretation of the overall data in October

Social platforms - The monthly activity of the seven social platforms counted all showed negative growth year-on-year, among which Maimai had the largest decline of -6.3%; WeChat, QQ, and Sina Weibo had declines close to 0%, which were relatively stable;

Information platforms : Among the 15 information platforms counted, Tiantian Kuaibao, Sina Finance, and Sina News showed positive growth, with increases of 4.8%, 3%, and 2.2% respectively; the other 12 platforms all showed negative growth year-on-year, with Sina Sports showing the largest decline of -8.6%. The traffic fluctuations of each platform were relatively small;

Browser platforms - among the eight browser platforms counted, except for VIVO browser which grew by -0.5%, the monthly active users of other browsers all grew to a small extent;

Video platforms : Of the six video platforms surveyed, Youku, Tencent, iQiyi, and Xiaomi all saw growth, with Youku’s growth being more significant at 3.7%. Sohu Video and Mango TV saw negative growth at -1.6% and -1.8% respectively.

Short video live streaming : Among the six platforms counted, Weishi, Kuaishou, Xigua, and Douyin showed significant growth, with increases of 7.1%, 5.4%, 2.8%, and 2.6% respectively; Haokan Video and Huoshan showed negative growth of -1.3% and -1.2% respectively;

Audio platforms : Ximalaya had the largest growth, at 7.1%; Lanrentingshu had a significant decline, at -7.5%;

Other platforms: In the automotive category , Dochedi grew significantly by 5.7%, Autohome grew by 1.2%, and Jiake Baodian grew by -2.6%; in the mother and baby category , Youbaobao had the largest growth of 6%; tool platforms were relatively stable; knowledge question and answer platform Zhihu also grew significantly by 7.6%; and community e-commerce platform Xiaohongshu grew by -1.5%.

TOP3 growth rates

The top three platforms with the highest growth rates were Zhihu , followed by Himalaya and Tencent Weishi , with similar growth rates of 7.6%, 7.1% and 7.1% respectively.

TOP3 declines

The top three websites with the largest declines were Sina Sports , followed by Lanrentingshu and Maimai, with growth rates of -8.6%, -7.5% and -6.3% respectively.

The above are several platforms where the difference in the proportion of men and women is large, and we also need to pay special attention to them.
