What does an asterisk on an itinerary card mean?

City names marked with an * (asterisk) indicate that there are currently medium or high-risk areas in the cities you have visited in the past 14 days, but this does not mean that you have actually visited these medium and high-risk areas.

The itinerary code will no longer mark the city names containing medium and high risk areas in red, but will include medium and high risk areas in brackets after the city name. These notes are only used as travel tips and have nothing to do with health conditions. Please follow the local joint prevention and control mechanism for specific control policies.

Although the green trip code with an asterisk will basically not affect travel, we are still encouraged to minimize unnecessary travel and unnecessary travel to medium- and high-risk areas.

How is "passing through" defined on the itinerary card?

"Passing by" means that if you stay in a place for more than 4 hours and use your mobile phone to open the itinerary code, the system will automatically record it as passing by or visiting.

Can I travel with the itinerary card “*”?

For those with asterisks on their itinerary cards, it is necessary to confirm whether they have been to medium- and high-risk areas. For those in high-risk areas, 14 days of centralized observation and 7 days of health monitoring will be implemented.

During the centralized observation period, the management regulations of the centralized observation points should be strictly followed, and nucleic acid testing and health monitoring should be carried out to avoid cross infection. For people in medium-risk areas, 14 days of home observation and 7 days of health monitoring will be implemented; those who do not meet the conditions for home observation will be subject to centralized observation. During the home observation period, the relevant requirements for home observation should be strictly followed, family protection should be done well, and stay at home.

Will the itinerary card "*" be quarantined?

A user with an asterisk on his/her itinerary card does not necessarily mean he/she will be quarantined. It depends on the specific situation. If the user has been to a medium- or high-risk area, he/she will be quarantined. If the user has not been to a medium- or high-risk area, he/she will not need to be quarantined.

For example, from an administrative division perspective, Region A belongs to City B, and big data capture shows that Region A is a medium-risk or high-risk area. Currently, except for Region A, other areas in City B are low-risk areas. An asterisk is marked after the itinerary code for City B, and it is further stated that "the existence of medium-risk or high-risk areas in City B does not mean that the user has actually visited these medium-risk or high-risk areas."

If it is necessary to go out, you need to explain the situation to the destination prevention and control office and other relevant departments in advance, understand the local epidemic prevention and control requirements, and cooperate with local work arrangements.

How long will it take for the asterisk on the itinerary code to disappear?

There are two ways for the itinerary code asterisk to disappear.

(i) It will disappear automatically after 14 days. This time limit is measured in the user's own time and has nothing to do with the risk area. If the asterisk on the itinerary card still exists after 14 days, you can call the communication service provider related to the communication itinerary card to make adjustments.

(2) After the risk level of the risk area is adjusted to low risk, the asterisk will disappear automatically.

If I have been staying in a medium- or high-risk area, when will the asterisk on my travel code disappear?

According to official adjustments.

If the official risk level is adjusted to low risk, the asterisk on your itinerary code will automatically disappear. (If it still exists, you can call the communication service provider related to the communication itinerary card to adjust it)

If the current risk level is medium or high, your trip code will also be marked with an asterisk.

Is the itinerary card updated every day?

Yes.

The communication itinerary card can query an individual's domestic and international itinerary in the previous 14 days. It is accurate to the provinces and cities in China (staying for more than 4 hours) and foreign countries. Cities visited after 14 days will not be displayed (the query results may be delayed by one day).
