On March 26, a large inflatable castle was suddenly blown up by strong winds in Shuangyue Lake Park in Linyi City, Shandong Province, and several children were thrown to the ground and the lake, and many children were injured;

On April 2, an inflatable castle in a square in Baoding, Hebei Province was blown over by the wind, and five children playing on it were thrown out and fell to the ground. Four of them were hospitalized.

On May 2, at a temple fair in Qucun Township, Puyang County, Henan Province, a children's amusement air cushion was blown away by strong winds, and more than a dozen children who were playing on it were swept away with the air cushion...

There is no lack of national standards for inflatable castles. The "Safety Specifications for Inflatable Amusement Facilities" issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration put forward clear requirements for anchoring and ballast systems in response to the problem that inflatable amusement facilities are prone to overturning in strong winds. The key to the problem is whether the installers of inflatable castles take national standards into consideration and take public safety to heart?

According to the relevant provisions of the Civil Code, operators of entertainment venues and other business places and public places who fail to fulfill their safety obligations and cause damage to others shall bear tort liability. In other words, no matter what the nature of the inflatable castle's business is, they should bear the corresponding tort liability after an accident occurs.

In real life, some outdoor recreational facilities are keen to appear in towns and villages in the form of temporary installations, especially during "temple fairs" and "markets". The problem is that most operators of such recreational facilities do not have relevant business licenses. What's worse, the recreational facilities themselves do not have any protective measures and safety guarantees. While bringing joy to the public, they also bury huge hidden dangers. After learning from the painful experience, it is necessary to clarify the relevant tort compensation liability and sort out the relevant management mechanisms.

The castle should contain fairy tales, not disasters and pain. The supervision of the inflatable castle cannot be ignored. Only by ensuring standardized operation and legal management can public safety be maintained to the greatest extent. In any case, the reflection on the inflatable castle accident cannot be blown away by the wind.
