2. Always feeling sleepy, weak, and wanting to sleep may also be a sleep disorder, which may be caused by brain hypoxia. Common diseases that cause brain hypoxia include severe hypertension.

Long-term sleep disorders will aggravate chronic cerebral ischemia and cause hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, which will cause symptoms of drowsiness and wanting to sleep.
