Recently, the National Botanical Garden was officially inaugurated, marking another important step for my country to protect biodiversity. It is reported that the botanical garden has collected more than 15,000 species of plants, including nearly 1,000 rare and endangered plants such as Metasequoia glyptostroboides and Davidia involucrata under ex situ protection.

It is late spring now, and the major parks are already "green and lush" and all flowers have withered. But in the National Botanical Garden, the reporter can still see flowers in full bloom everywhere. Whether it is local rare plants or overseas garden species, they have found a place to take root in this "treasure house of plants".

According to the needs of the capital's epidemic prevention and control work, citizens and tourists entering the park during the "May Day" holiday (April 30 to May 4) must present a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours. Ticket purchasers must make a real-name reservation on the WeChat public account "National Botanical Garden Ticket Purchase Platform" 1-7 days in advance. Foreigners and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan tourists must enter their passport number or Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Pass number when purchasing tickets. Please take good care of yourself and maintain social distance.
