The latest footage of the 6.9-magnitude earthquake in Hualien County, Taiwan Island: The bridge collapsed and the rider captured the moment of the landslide

According to official measurements by the China Earthquake Networks Center, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake occurred in Hualien County, Taiwan at 14:44 on September 18, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers. There were no villages within 20 kilometers of the earthquake and no township settlements within 100 kilometers.

According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, the 6.9-magnitude earthquake in Hualien, Taiwan and the 6.5-magnitude earthquake in Taiwan last night were earthquake swarms in the same area, with the two epicenters about 14 kilometers apart.

The earthquake caused strong tremors on Taiwan Island, and was felt significantly in coastal areas such as Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangsu, and Shanghai; it was also felt in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Taizhou and other places in Zhejiang, and Nanchang and Ganzhou in Jiangxi.
