6 Chinese astronauts meet in space!

According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, after the Shenzhou-15 manned spacecraft entered orbit, it successfully docked at the forward port of the Tianhe core module of the space station at 5:42 am Beijing time on November 30, 2022. The entire docking process lasted about 6.5 hours.

After the manned spacecraft and the space station complex successfully achieved autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking, the Shenzhou 15 astronaut crew entered the orbital module from the spacecraft return capsule. After completing all preparations, at 7:33 am Beijing time on November 30, 2022, the long-awaited Shenzhou 14 astronaut crew successfully opened the "door" and warmly welcomed their relatives from afar to settle in the "Tiangong". Afterwards, the two astronaut crews who "successfully met" left a space photo that will go down in history in the Chinese people's own "space home".

In the node module, the commanders of the two crews met first. Chen Dong and Fei Junlong first shook hands, and then hugged each other tightly. "You are finally here!" Chen Dong said excitedly.

Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu also walked into the "home" one after another and shook hands and hugged Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe who were waiting in the core module.

The six Chinese astronauts successfully reunited in the Tianhe core module and took a space photo in the Chinese people's own "space home" that will go down in history. When taking the photo, they shouted together: "The Chinese space station is always worth looking forward to!"

Later, the two astronaut crews will carry out the first on-orbit rotation in the space station. During this period, the six astronauts will work and live together in the space station for about five days, completing various established tasks and handover work.
