The on-site medical monitoring and medical insurance personnel confirmed that astronauts Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe were in good physical condition and the Shenzhou 14 manned flight mission was a complete success.

According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, at 19:20, the Beijing Aerospace Flight Control Center issued a return command through the ground tracking and control station, and the orbital module and the return module of the Shenzhou XIV manned spacecraft were successfully separated. After that, the spacecraft's return brake engine was ignited, and the return module was separated from the propulsion module. After the return module successfully landed, the search and rescue team responsible for the search and recovery mission discovered the target in time and arrived at the landing site. After the return module door was opened, the medical supervision and medical insurance personnel confirmed that the astronauts were in good health.

The Shenzhou XIV manned spacecraft was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on June 5, 2022, and then docked with the Tianhe core module to form a combination. During the six-month stay in orbit, the three astronauts conducted three extravehicular activities, completed the installation and commissioning of the space station's internal and external equipment and facilities and equipment related to space application missions, carried out a series of space science experiments and technical tests, welcomed the visits of two space station modules, one manned spacecraft, and one cargo spacecraft in orbit, and completed the assembly and construction of the "T" basic configuration of the Chinese space station in cooperation with the ground, completed the first in-orbit handover with the Shenzhou XV astronauts, witnessed many historic moments such as the world record for the fastest rendezvous and docking of cargo spacecraft with the space station, and took advantage of the gaps between missions to conduct a "Tiangong Classroom" space lecture, as well as a series of unique popular science education and cultural communication activities.
