Along with the joy of bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new, when the first ray of sunlight spread over the back of the moon, the Yutu-2 lunar rover and the Chang'e-4 lander woke up autonomously on January 15 and January 16 respectively, ushering in the 51st lunar day working period.

During the morning of the 51st lunar day (January 18, 2023), when the Yutu-2 lunar rover reached point LE05103, the panoramic camera on board the lunar rover took a 360-degree panoramic photo of the lunar rover.
