China Weather Net predicts that from June 14 to this weekend, many places in the north will experience the strongest temperatures this year. Eleven places including Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Shandong, and Henan will enter a continuous high temperature mode, and some areas will hit 40°C, which may break the historical record for the same period.

Widespread high temperatures in the north are coming

Parts of North China may experience continuous high temperatures

From June 14 to the weekend, high temperatures will continue to develop in the north and the range will continue to expand.

Tomorrow (June 14), Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Henan, and western Shandong will have hot weather, with the highest temperature in many places in southern Hebei and northern Henan reaching 38~39℃;

On Thursday (June 15), the high temperature range will extend to central and southeastern Inner Mongolia;

By the weekend, central and western Liaoning and central and western Jilin will also experience high temperatures.

This high temperature process will last for a long time in the North China Plain, and some places may experience continuous high temperature for 5 to 6 days. Cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Hebei, and Jinan, Shandong may experience continuous high temperatures above 35℃.

For the Northeast, this hot weather process will also promote the process of entering summer. Many places including Shenyang, Liaoning and Changchun, Jilin may also usher in the first hot day of the year.

Frequent rainfall from South China to Yunnan

Heavy rain or torrential rain in some areas

In the three days starting from today (June 13), there will be strong water vapor transport from South China to Yunnan, and frequent rainfall.

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that parts of Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou, southeastern Tibet and other places will have moderate to heavy rain, with local heavy rain or torrential rain, accompanied by strong convective weather such as short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, gale or hail.

Today (June 13), there will be moderate to heavy rain in parts of eastern Tibet, southern Qinghai, eastern Jilin, southwestern Sichuan, most of Yunnan, southern Hunan, northern Jiangxi, most of Zhejiang, northern Fujian, southern and northeastern Guangxi, most of Guangdong, eastern and southern Hainan Island, and most of Taiwan Island. Among them, there will be local heavy rain in southeastern Tibet, western and southern Yunnan, southern Guangxi, central and southwestern Guangdong, southern Taiwan Island, and eastern Zhejiang.

Tomorrow (June 14), there will be moderate to heavy rain in parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, western and northeastern Heilongjiang, western Xinjiang along the Tianshan Mountains, eastern Tibet, western and southern Sichuan, most of Yunnan, southern Guangxi, most of Guangdong, southern and eastern Fujian, most of Hainan Island, and Taiwan Island. Among them, there will be local heavy rain or torrential rain in southeastern Tibet, northwestern and southern Yunnan, the coastal areas of central and eastern Guangdong, and southeastern Fujian.

The day after tomorrow (June 15), there will be moderate to heavy rain in parts of northern Heilongjiang, the Tianshan area in Xinjiang, southeastern Tibet, southeastern Qinghai, southeastern Sichuan, western Chongqing, southeastern Yunnan, southern Guangxi, central and southern Guangdong, southeastern Jiangxi, southeastern Fujian, northern Hainan Island, and Taiwan Island. Among them, there will be heavy rain or torrential rain in some areas of southeastern Tibet, coastal areas of central Guangdong, and central and southern Taiwan Island.

At present, the meteorological drought in eastern Yunnan is still severe. Precipitation is beneficial to alleviate the drought, but the continued heavy rainfall in southern Yunnan may easily induce geological disasters such as flash floods, and the local public should take precautions. At the same time, local rainfall in southern China and other places is relatively heavy, and it is also necessary to take precautions against secondary disasters that may be caused by rainfall.
