Typhoon No. 13 this year, " Bebejia " , strengthened to typhoon level on the night of the 14th. At 5 o'clock this morning (15th), its center was located on the eastern waters of the East China Sea about 520 kilometers east of Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, that is, 29.1 degrees north latitude and 127.5 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind speed near the center was level 12 (33 meters/second), the lowest central pressure was 975 hPa, the radius of the level 7 wind circle was 100-250 kilometers, and the radius of the level 10 wind circle was 100-120 kilometers.

It is predicted that "Bebejia" will move northwestward at a speed of 20-25 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will continue to increase, gradually approaching the coast of East China, and will make landfall in the coastal area from Ningbo, Zhejiang to Qidong, Jiangsu from the night of the 15th to the morning of the 16th (typhoon level or strong typhoon level, 12-14 levels, 35-42 meters/second), and its intensity will gradually weaken after landing.

Affected by this, heavy rains to torrential rains will occur successively in the central and eastern parts of Jiangnan, Jianghuai, and eastern Jianghan , and some coastal areas in eastern Jiangnan will experience extremely heavy rains. Travel on highways in these areas will be affected to a certain extent.

Strong wind forecast: From 08:00 on September 15 to 08:00 on September 16, there will be strong winds of 6-8 with gusts of 9-10 in most parts of the East China Sea, the southern Yellow Sea, northeastern Zhejiang, Shanghai, and southeastern Jiangsu. There will be strong winds of 9-11 with gusts of 12-13 in parts of the northern East China Sea, the coast of Shanghai, the southeastern coast of Jiangsu, Hangzhou Bay, the Yangtze River Estuary, and the waters near Zhoushan Islands. The National Marine Forecasting Center issued a red alert for sea waves at 22:00 on September 14 and a yellow alert for storm surge at 16:00 on the 14th.
