Among them, sales of pure electric vehicles soared 104% year-on-year to 5,001 units, accounting for about 1.6% of the market share; while sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles were 3,120 units, down 9% year-on-year, accounting for about 1% of the market share. In terms of specific models, BMW i3 sales hit a new high for the sixth consecutive month, with sales of 992 units in August, including 987 pure electric models. Renault ZOE ranked second with sales of 777 units.
