 Beijing - On November 23 , 2021 , Amazon Web Services announced that adidas, one of the world's largest sports brands, has selected Amazon Web Services as its preferred cloud provider for SAP workloads, migrating its SAP environment to Amazon Web Services and building a modern SAP S/4HANA platform. Adidas has laid the technical foundation needed to connect global operational data through the modernization of its SAP ERP system. The new cloud-based system will combine the SAP environment with Amazon Web Services capabilities (such as machine learning and analysis) to support Adidas stores around the world to optimize supply chain, inventory and sales operations management. By creating a cloud-based consumer experience, Adidas can provide consumers with personalized discounts, advance information on new products and co-branded items, increase the priority of consumer services, and the ability to personalize experiences and offers.

Amazon Web Services has extensive experience in building SAP systems, enabling Adidas to closely integrate the SAP S/4HANA environment with Amazon Web Services' technologies to achieve advanced analytical capabilities, data science, and enterprise reporting capabilities. Amazon Web Services' Amazon SageMaker machine learning service can help developers and data scientists quickly build, train, and deploy machine learning models in the cloud and on the edge.
