The head of Tesla's subsidiary disappeared after being given enough benefits

According to foreign media reports, Tesla said it has given enough benefits to its German supplier Grohmann Engineering, and the founder and CEO of Grohmann Engineering have not been working normally for several weeks.

Tesla acquired Groman Engineering, a manufacturer of automated machining systems, in November last year. The acquisition is crucial for Tesla to increase its production capacity and expand its market.

Tesla promised to provide job guarantees and salary increases to the 700 workers at the factory under the threat of a strike by the German Metal Industry Association. Uwe Herzig, head of the Grohmann union, said that Tesla paid a one-time payment of 1,000 euros to the company's employees after Easter in addition to job guarantees, salary increases and stock options.

Uwe Herzig said that in November, the union was told that everything would remain unchanged after the sale to Tesla, but on March 31, it was told that Klaus Grohmann, the head of Grohmann, announced that he would retire. Since then, Klaus has not appeared again and his phone could not be reached. Tesla's German branch did not immediately respond to this.

Tesla had previously promised to add 1,000 jobs to Golman and renamed the company Tesla Golman Automation. In 2016, the annual production was about 80,000 vehicles, and after the acquisition, the production is expected to increase to 500,000 vehicles.

Gorman has previously helped Daimler, BMW and other companies produce production equipment for electric vehicle batteries, and Herzig said that Tesla has been given priority. The German Metal Industry Association requires Tesla to adopt a collective salary agreement and work guarantee in addition to a five-year job guarantee.
