The appearance of the Roewe i6 16T is no different from the mid-to-low-end models of the 20T. It still retains the design elements derived from the Roewe Vision-R concept car, and has a young and fashionable appearance.

This car is equipped with halogen headlights, but it is still equipped with lenses. The styling is not much behind the high-end models, and it retains the LED daytime running lights, but LED headlights cannot be optionally installed. Such performance is reasonable for its positioning.

The 16T on the rear of the car indicates that it is a 1.0T model, while the 1.5T model has a 20T on the rear. In terms of transmission system, the lowest configuration of the new car provides a 6-speed manual transmission, and the other two models are 7-speed dual-clutch transmissions. In terms of chassis, the 16T model uses the same torsion beam non-independent rear suspension as the 20T low-end model, which is reasonable.

Depending on the model, the i6 offers two rear suspension structures. The 16T model and the 20T mid-to-low-end model will use a torsion beam non-independent suspension, while the 20T high-end model uses a multi-link independent suspension.

The on-paper data of this 1.0T engine is in no way inferior to the 1.6L naturally aspirated engine of the same level, and during daily driving, you can even feel that its power is lighter than that of the 1.6L model.

Although many people still have an aversion to 3-cylinder engine models, it has to be said that many joint venture brands in the market have begun to equip their products with 3-cylinder engines, and both the power performance and vehicle vibration are qualitatively different from previous 3-cylinder engines.
