This is actually very similar to the current situation of UR-V. The previous competitors have been launched for some time. As a latecomer of mid-size SUV, UR-V is like a transfer student who suddenly comes in the middle of the semester. Although its grades are good, it is not easy to gain favor.

In terms of appearance, the UR-V is a standard-sized mid-size SUV with a body size of 4825*1942*1675mm, which has certain advantages in the same level of models. The UR-V mid-to-high-end models use circle LED headlights, daytime running lights, high and low beams are all LED light sources, and the fog lights are equipped with steering assist lights.

The rear of the UR-V has a design similar to a fastback, and the rear 45-degree angle has a strong sense of design. The taillights are narrow and long, and use an LED light strip design. The left and right taillights are connected, but the middle is a split decoration without a light source. The top-of-the-line UR-V is equipped with Michelin Primacy SUV tires with a specification of 245/55 R19, which is considered wide among models of the same level.

In terms of interior, UR-V has a strong sense of heaviness and quality, which is due to the simple design and the proper matching of materials. The steering wheel feels very good, which is the style I like very much. The thickness is appropriate and the leather wrapped outside has a delicate texture.

The central control panel is compact, the multimedia system is touch-based, and the touch response speed is not slow, and the display effect is also very good. UR-V does not use a traditional gear lever, but is equipped with a push-button electronic gear. It is undeniable that this method is eye-catching and has a sense of technology. However, from a practical point of view, I personally feel that this is not a good choice.

In terms of power system, UR-V has a maximum power of 272 horsepower and a maximum torque of 370 Nm. The on-paper parameters are almost the highest level of 2.0T SUVs in the same class.

For UR-V, it is late and destined to be a follower in the short term. Although its personality is distinct enough among cars of the same level, it is not obviously differentiated from Guandao, which may not be a good thing for it. It is of course good to fly with Guandao, but if car buyers are in a dilemma of choice, they are more likely to choose the one they have preconceived ideas about.
