In the past March, a large number of mainstream companies and brands in the color TV market, such as Samsung, Sony, Hisense, TCL, Changhong, LeTV, and Xiaomi, have launched the first shot in the spring market. They almost launched new products at the same time. The most eye-catching one is TCL, which not only launched quantum dots and curved large screens in March, but also launched Thunderbird, a new Internet TV brand, to join the battle.

Little do people know that China's color TV industry is about to face an unprecedented reshuffle in 2017. Faced with the competition among OLED, QLED, laser display and artificial intelligence, the strong rise of high-end consumer groups, and the close combat between local color TV giants, foreign color TV giants, and Internet companies, who will be kicked out? LeTV is seeking to achieve a comprehensive ecological transformation through its business strategy. To this end, the new series of LeTV TVs it launched are priced at over 10,000 yuan. It seems that LeTV is eager to make money through hardware. The foreign giant Sony has launched the A1 series of new products with differentiated screen speaker technology, making its debut in the OLED TV market again!

On the surface, the current round of competition among color TV companies focuses on new products and new technologies. In fact, what really determines which color TV company can go further is not the technical concept packaging and planning of the product itself, but the promotion and detonation capabilities in the first-tier market.

Just like OLED TV, the reason why it has been weak in the past few years is that it lacks direct promotion and promotion from users. It is still mostly based on market hype. This also gives latecomers the opportunity and space to break through.

It can be seen that in the first two months of this year, the color TV market has experienced an unprecedented sales decline. The hot and lively new product launches of various companies have not been able to save and cover up the saturation of demand and sluggish growth in the entire color TV market. However, there are still many corporate brands that choose to temporarily low prices to stimulate consumer demand, but they cannot save the entire color TV industry from continued market competition and business transformation.

It can be said that with the continuous fluctuation and rise in the price of raw material panels of smart TVs, the adjustment of a new round of policies in the real estate market, and the lack of major growth points in consumer demand, many color TV companies can only compete with strength and endurance. This is bound to be a protracted battle. Whoever can stand to the end with a smile will be the winner! Otherwise, they will be kicked out!
