On December 28, Honda's 2017 board of directors, which was not held in Wuhan, came unexpectedly. The summary of the year and the plan for next year were discussed step by step, but a new piece of news at the board of directors made the meeting more unusual. According to Dongfeng personnel, Chen Binbo will no longer serve as the executive vice president of Dongfeng Honda, and will be appointed to another position; Zheng Chunkai, secretary of the Party Committee of Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company, will replace Chen Binbo as the executive vice president of Dongfeng Honda.


Chen Binbo, this name has been widely known in the industry in the past two years with the rapid development of Dongfeng Honda. As the executive vice president of Dongfeng Honda, Chen Binbo has made great contributions to the growth of Dongfeng Honda from a non-mainstream automaker with just over 200,000 units to a strong automaker with 700,000 units, and has built up the competitiveness of the entire value chain for it.
