Indeed, Xiaomi and Huawei have seized a lot of market share, but they only seize the low-end and mid-end markets. In the high-end market, they dare not even launch a single model. Faced with numerous domestic mobile phone brands, how did Apple and Samsung monopolize the high-end mobile phone market? Innovation! As smart phones become more and more popular, the domestic mobile phone industry has also ushered in an unprecedented bonus period, resulting in air conditioners, clothes, and TVs all selling mobile phones. In order to quickly adapt to the market, they have all embarked on the road of "imitation". These brands lacking innovation capabilities naturally dare not position themselves in the high-end mobile phone market, so they set their sights on the mid- and low-end markets. Since there are too many competitors in the mid- and low-end markets, they can only start with price and performance, thus deriving the "cost-effectiveness" that is an important parameter in domestic mobile phones. Domestic mobile phones focus on "price-performance ratio", while Apple and Samsung focus on innovation. This is the difference between the two, and it is also the reason why the price of domestic mobile phones dare not exceed 4,000 yuan. Compared with innovation ability, high cost performance also has its own unique advantages. It has captured the hearts of a large number of consumers through its advantages of high performance and low price. But this is also its most fatal weakness, because it does not have its own irreplaceability, while innovation ability is just the opposite. Take the Xiaomi mobile phone, which is the most representative of "cost-effectiveness", for example. It can be replaced by Huawei, which is also a domestic mobile phone, or even by OnePlus, which also pursues "cost-effectiveness". High cost-effectiveness is a capability that many domestic mobile phones can have, but innovation is not. Perhaps consumers who use Xiaomi mobile phones are willing to exchange Xiaomi for other people's Apple, but I guess that consumers who use Apple are not willing to exchange their Apple for your Xiaomi. In fact, the price-performance ratio pursued by domestic mobile phones is actually curbing their own innovation capabilities. In response to this situation, domestic mobile phone brands have gradually realized the problem. Although international brands such as Samsung and Apple are still the main leaders in technological innovation in the smartphone industry, such as their previous promotion of dual-curved screens and fingerprint recognition, compared with the past, domestic mobile phone brands have gradually become more and more the protagonists of technological innovation. In addition to constantly winning international awards such as the Red Dot Award and the German iF Design Award and being increasingly recognized by authoritative foreign media, they have also played an increasingly important role in the upgrading and promotion of smartphone functions. The price-performance ratio is certainly a highlight of domestic mobile phones, but it is not the foundation. Domestic mobile phones still have a long way to go on the road of innovation.
