Tesla confirmed to be fined $140,000. Pure electric car manufacturers also exceed pollution emission standards?

Pure electric vehicles do stop exhaust emissions and no longer consume fuel, which makes them look quite pleasing to environmentalists who love Mother Earth. However, who can guarantee that factories that produce pure electric vehicles will not pollute the environment?

Recently, due to long-term emission problems at its factory in Fremont, California, Tesla, a star manufacturer in the pure electric vehicle industry, has confirmed that it has agreed to pay a fine of approximately US$140,000 to local regulators.

It is worth mentioning that (official account:) noticed that Tesla officials said in a statement that the culprit for the emission problem was that the factory was still using old equipment left over from its predecessor, New United Motor Manufacturing, which was operated by General Motors and Toyota Motor Corporation before being acquired by Tesla.

In response, executive officials of the San Francisco Bay Area Air Quality Management District believe that the operation of Tesla's factory must comply with all license conditions and will not relax regulations considering its development of electric vehicles and related technologies.
