FF91 to be revived? Jia Yueting's FF factory gets permission from the US local government to start construction

Following Jia Yueting's Weibo post last month in support of Lenovo's Liu Chuanzhi, Faraday Future (FF), an American electric car company invested by Jia Yueting, recently announced that it has obtained the official permission of the Hanford government of the United States to put the first batch of mass-produced vehicles FF91 into production at the Hanford plant, and the products will be delivered as scheduled at the end of 2018.

In the last Weibo comments, many netizens were most concerned about when Jia Yueting would return to China. But now, FF has already started building a factory and putting it into production.

FF91 was first unveiled at the CES in Las Vegas in January 2017. During the exhibition, FF only invited some media and investors to test drive it and did not hold any public events. As for FF91, data shows that its range can reach 608 kilometers, its acceleration time from 0 to 100 kilometers is 2.39 seconds, and its maximum output power is 783kW. It will also have functions such as AI and facial recognition.

It is reported that FF91 will use anti-gravity seats, which is not yet publicly adopted by other electric car companies. This may also become a killer feature of FF91. Due to various reasons, there has not been much news since its debut, and the outside world is also speculating whether FF91 will be stillborn.

Later, Jia Yueting announced that he had obtained a new round of US$1.5 billion in financing. He also held the first global supplier summit and promised to deliver the first batch of mass-produced cars before the end of 2018, which gave the outside world some hope.

FF said that the Hanford plant plans to employ 1,300 employees and is located between Los Angeles and Silicon Valley. These two places are the two largest electric vehicle markets in the United States. Building factories here can also show FF's determination and judgment to a certain extent. FF's headquarters is located in Southern California, and it is said that FF's China headquarters will also be established in Guangzhou, and its pace of penetration into China is also proceeding simultaneously.

So can FF91 be successfully put into production and delivered to users? Can Jia Yueting's dream of making cars come true? Even after the mass-produced cars roll off the assembly line, can FF91's product strength and cost-effectiveness win over users? Many questions are still unknown. What do you think about this?
