Right after launching its new model EC6, it has started a sedan project to seize the domestic pure electric high-end model market. According to Tesla's development plan, if you want to get rich, you still have to go overseas first. Now that there are no more worries, NIO is also planning its own overseas expansion. Recently, some media reported that NIO's overseas expansion has made substantial progress. The export business team has been established and relevant departments are also being planned and established. It has been named the "Marco Polo Project" internally. NIO plans to expand its overseas market from Europe, with the first location being Copenhagen, Denmark, where it will launch the ES8 and ES6 models, with a goal of achieving sales of 7,000 units in two years. NIO has two major R&D centers located in Europe, which are a good foundation for its European development plan. The core of NIO's overseas business is still services, such as one-click charging and worry-free service. In August, Li Bin, the founder of Future, expressed his determination to conquer Europe, saying that the company would go overseas in the second half of 2021 and enter major global automobile markets by 2023 or 2024. In China, NIO has also achieved remarkable results, making a good start for its overseas journey. According to the delivery data released by NIO, a total of 5,055 new cars were delivered in October, setting a new monthly delivery record for the brand, doubling year-on-year, and also the eighth consecutive month of growth since March this year. This is the first time that NIO’s monthly deliveries have exceeded 5,000 units, and it is also the first time that monthly sales of a domestically produced high-end car have exceeded 5,000 units. In addition, NIO is not only the leader of new domestic car-making forces, but also has considerable weight in the domestic high-end luxury car camp. Data shows that the average selling price of NIO cars has exceeded 400,000 yuan. Previously, no domestic passenger car brand has reached this level. NIO has survived the delisting crisis and is on a fast track to development. The voices in the market that are pessimistic about NIO have gradually disappeared. In the future, NIO will also showcase the advantages of domestically produced high-end electric vehicles to users around the world.
