Tesla Model S new interior revealed: 3 screens, computer can play PS5-level games

Recently, Tesla released its fourth quarter 2020 financial report and also showed the new interior upgrade of Model S. In the new interior design, the most important change is that the steering wheel has been changed to a yoke-style steering wheel similar to that of an airplane, which will not block the LCD instrument panel during driving. Another change is that Model S will introduce the "Plaid" power system, which can provide gaming performance close to that of the PS5 and can also play "The Witcher 3".

Tesla said the new model's gaming computer will have a GPU performance of 10 teraflops, close to the next-generation consoles Xbox Series X and Playstation 5, which have GPU performances of 12 teraflops and 10.5 teraflops, respectively.

The new Model S interior provides three large screens, namely the LCD instrument panel screen in front of the steering wheel and the 17-inch central control screen. The orientation has also been changed from vertical to horizontal, which is more suitable for the entertainment system. The resolution has also been upgraded from 1900x1200 to 2200x1300. As can be seen from the schematic diagram, a large number of games are displayed in the game library, the most prominent of which is the famous stand-alone game "The Witcher 3" from Polish CDPR.

There is an 8-inch display screen in front of the rear seats and behind the armrest box. The schematic diagram also shows that a racing game is running. Tesla will equip the Model S with a wireless controller for entertainment, allowing players to enjoy the game anytime and anywhere in any seat.
