Xiaomi's car-making partner confirmed? SAIC-GM-Wuling officially confirms

It is reported that the official account of SAIC Motor officially stated on the interactive platform today that it is actively establishing a new ecosystem with multiple Internet companies through cross-border cooperation. SAIC-GM-Wuling has reached a cooperation with Xiaomi on Internet technology.

At the same time, the official also stated that the stock price of listed companies is affected by many factors and cannot fully reflect the value of the enterprise. SAIC Group will continue to improve the company's performance and let more people recognize the value of the company. In the second half of this year, as the chip supply shortage problem is alleviated, the company's production and sales will pick up.

Data shows that SAIC-GM-Wuling sold 884,195 vehicles in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 39.5%, achieving 15 consecutive months of year-on-year sales growth.

Among them, Wuling brand sold 693,351 units in the first half of the year, and Baojun brand sold 123,057 units. The number of exported vehicles has achieved a six-month growth, with a total of 74,225 units exported in the first half of the year.

At Xiaomi's spring new product launch conference earlier this year, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced that Xiaomi would officially build cars, and said that Xiaomi Auto would be the last major entrepreneurial venture in his life and he would bet his entire reputation on Xiaomi Auto.

Not long ago, Lei Jun posted a recruitment information on Weibo, recruiting 500 technical talents for Xiaomi Auto's autonomous driving department to prepare for the self-developed industry-leading L4-level autonomous driving system. The recruited personnel can work in multiple locations across the country.
