Among the many reasons that cause chip prices to rise by dozens or even hundreds of times, the harm of distributors hoarding and speculation cannot be ignored." In response to this situation, the State Administration for Market Regulation of China issued an announcement on its official website, stating that in response to the prominent problems of price gouging and high prices in the automotive chip market, it has filed a case against automotive chip distributors suspected of price gouging based on price monitoring and reporting clues. The State Administration for Market Regulation will continue to pay attention to the market price order of important commodities such as chips, and further increase supervision and law enforcement efforts to severely investigate and punish illegal acts such as hoarding, price gouging, and collusion to raise prices. At present, the speed of domestic resumption of work and production is better than the international average. This is a good opportunity for domestic auto brands to catch up, but the shortage of chips has also made domestic automakers complain.
