SNE Research: The global electric vehicle battery installed capacity in September 2022 is 54.7GWh, Ningde accounts for 36.3% and ranks first

Global information agency SNE Research recently released global electric vehicle (BEV, PHEV, HEV) battery installation data from January to September 2022. The data showed that from January to September 2022, the total global electric vehicle battery installation reached 341.3 GWh, a year-on-year increase of 75.2%.

From January to September 2022, CATL and LG Energy Solution maintained the first and second positions, BYD ranked third, Panasonic ranked fourth, and SK-On ranked fifth.

In September alone, the global installed capacity of electric vehicle batteries was 54.7 GWh, a year-on-year increase of 61.2%. Chinese company CATL ranked first in the world with an installed capacity of 19.9 GWh, accounting for 36.3%.

Earlier in August, BYD's battery installation capacity once surpassed South Korea's LG Energy Solution, ranking second in the world. However, in September, LG Energy Solution's battery installation capacity was 8.8GWh, returning to second place. BYD's power battery installation capacity was 7.3 GWh, falling to third place.
