The data showed that from January to September 2022, the total global electric vehicle battery installation reached 341.3 GWh, a year-on-year increase of 75.2%. From January to September 2022, CATL and LG Energy Solution maintained the first and second positions, BYD ranked third, Panasonic ranked fourth, and SK-On ranked fifth. In September alone, the global installed capacity of electric vehicle batteries was 54.7 GWh, a year-on-year increase of 61.2%. Chinese company CATL ranked first in the world with an installed capacity of 19.9 GWh, accounting for 36.3%. Earlier in August, BYD's battery installation capacity once surpassed South Korea's LG Energy Solution, ranking second in the world.
