According to Auto Renaissance, it was exclusively learned from several people close to Chery Jaguar Land Rover that Chery Jaguar Land Rover has started a new round of layoffs in October. The proportion of this round of layoffs is about 15%-20%, involving multiple departments such as product engineering, quality management, production and manufacturing, logistics and shipping management, and even the factory is laying off employees, and "two workshops have been merged into one."

Zhang Yi, an employee of Chery Jaguar Land Rover, said that the first and second best performance colleagues in his department were laid off, and he felt that "the decision-makers were acting recklessly and started laying off those with high performance."

Not only those with good performance were not spared, several directors were also laid off, and there were even more senior managers. Zhang Yi speculated, "Even the directors were unprepared. Maybe only the VP level knew a little bit of the news."

In addition, people close to Chery Jaguar Land Rover said that Chery Jaguar Land Rover had already experienced a round of layoffs at the beginning of this year, and this time the layoff storm swept more formal employees.
