SAIC MG and Zhiji join forces to attend the 2024 Geneva Motor Show

(Shanghai, February 20, 2024) At the 2024 Geneva Motor Show which will officially open on February 26, SAIC Group's two independent brands, MG and Zhiji, will "join forces" to showcase to the world 10 new electric and intelligent cars, including the two global debut models Zhiji L6 and MG3 HEV. With strong "China Smart Manufacturing" technological strength and innovative charm, they will actively lead the green and intelligent "new travel trend" in the birthplace of the world's automobiles.

The latest model of Zhiji Auto, SAIC's high-end pure electric smart brand, the Zhiji L6, will make its global debut. Its 0-100 km/h acceleration has entered the 2-second club, and its CLTC maximum range has exceeded 1,000 kilometers, making it the first mass-produced car that perfectly replicates the F1 driving experience.

The MG3 HEV, which will be launched globally at this auto show, uses the new Hybrid Plus technology and integrates four major product advantages: 100% electrification perception in multiple scenarios, strong power, fuel economy, and quiet space. It is expected to become SAIC's new global hit model after the MG4 EV.

Europe is the birthplace of the world's automobiles and SAIC's largest overseas regional market. In 2023, SAIC's overseas sales reached 1.21 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 19%, leading the way among Chinese automobile companies for eight consecutive years, helping my country's vehicle exports surpass Japan and become the world's number one. Among them, SAIC sold a total of 330,000 vehicles in the European market, and SAIC's first global car MG4 EV sold 100,000 units. SAIC's overseas sales are expected to reach 1.35 million vehicles in 2024, setting a new record.
