Snowden's private system Tails has serious vulnerabilities

Tails is Snowden's most trusted operating system. It has become famous together with Snowden because of the Prism Gate incident. However, Tails has recently been exposed to have security vulnerabilities, which may not be as safe as imagined. Exodus said that they found a hidden vulnerability in Tails (also on the latest version of the Tails operating system), which can deanonymize and remotely execute code for the target user, exposing the user to malware attacks. This means that hackers can do whatever they want to the invaded system, such as installing malware or stealing files. For a platform like Tails, the first task is to maintain anonymity and ensure that the user's behavior and communication cannot be traced. Therefore, any violation of these basic principles will be considered extremely dangerous. Although Tails has been exposed to vulnerabilities this time, it still protects anonymity much better than Windows. Exodus is worried that this vulnerability will be exploited, which will put users at risk of being monitored. It is recommended that users consider using multiple different platforms to avoid risks. Exodus is currently planning to block the vulnerability with Tails and is expected to publish a complete vulnerability report next week.
