Beware of bricking your Surface Pro 3 after upgrading to new firmware

The high price of Surface Pro 3 makes people think that it should be a reliable product, but things are often not the case. Problems such as overheating and Wi-Fi connection are no longer a big deal. A Surface Pro 3 update firmware released by Microsoft earlier this month was exposed to cause the device to become "bricked". Some users who upgraded the firmware reported that the touch screen failed after the upgrade and were required to restart every time they turned on the computer. A user of the i5+128GB version of Surface Pro 3 said: It was normal before, but after updating the firmware, I found that the touch screen and stylus driver always prompted that the device needed to be restarted to continue working. However, no matter how many times I restarted, I couldn't solve this problem. Restoring factory settings and creating a new user account didn't help. Microsoft support engineers have asked relevant users about this matter, indicating that Microsoft is investigating the problem, but no relevant remedies have been launched yet. Another Surface Pro 3 user said that a hardware restart can solve this problem, but it is also temporary, and the touch screen will stop working after a few minutes.
