According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, from January to July 2023, the automobile manufacturing industry's profits were 258.31 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.0%, accounting for 6.5% of the total profits of industrial enterprises above designated size.

From January to July 2023, the profit margin of the automobile manufacturing industry was 4.9%, a year-on-year decrease.
