The three new pillars of independent brands, new energy vehicles, and overseas markets continue to exert their strength: independent brand sales reached 216,000 units, accounting for more than 60% of the company's sales; new energy vehicle sales reached 75,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%; overseas market sales reached 92,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 2.7%, continuing to lead the industry.

New energy vehicles are "steadily on the rise". In April this year, SAIC's new energy vehicle sales reached 75,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%; from January to April, the cumulative sales of new energy vehicles reached 285,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 35.4%, ranking second among Chinese automakers in terms of sales volume. Among them, Zhiji Auto's sales in April increased by 49.3% year-on-year, and the new car "tech king" Zhiji L6 received 21,000 orders and will be officially launched and delivered to users on May 13. In April, SAIC Passenger Vehicle's Roewe D7 DMH ranked TOP 2 in the sales list of plug-in hybrid mid-size cars for 4 consecutive months, and the world's first convertible electric sports car MG Cyberster ranked TOP 3 in sports car sales for 5 consecutive months; SAIC Volkswagen's new energy vehicle sales exceeded 10,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 56%, and the ID. family took the lead in electrification and continued to rise; SAIC General Motors delivered nearly 9,000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 93.1%, and Buick's new GL8 Lu Zun PHEV received more than 10,000 orders within 72 hours of its launch; SAIC-GM-Wuling sold more than 40,000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 65.9%.

Overseas markets "continue to lead". In April, SAIC's overseas sales reached 92,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 2.7%, continuing to lead among Chinese automobile companies. SAIC MG continued its outstanding performance in the European market, with sales exceeding 60,000 vehicles from January to April, and successfully took over from Porsche as the main sponsor of the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed ​​in the UK. In July, the world's most prestigious, largest and oldest automotive event will officially kick off, and the century-old MG will interpret a new "speed legend" with wisdom.
