BMW Group: As of November 2023, BMW's new energy vehicle models have reached 300,000 units

It was learned from the BMW Group’s official account that BMW’s new energy vehicle models have reached a total of 300,000 units.

It is reported that from January to October 2023, the sales volume of BMW pure electric vehicles in the Chinese market reached 78,600 units, a year-on-year increase of 211%. As the first brand among BBA to exceed 300,000 new energy vehicles, BMW will accelerate the layout of pure electric vehicles in China.

According to the plan, BMW's third domestically produced pure electric model iX1 will be put into production in Shenyang, and i5 will be produced domestically next year.

In addition, the BMW Group plans to start production of new-generation models in the second half of 2025, and start production in Shenyang, China in 2026. It will subsequently launch 6 models based on the new platform.

By 2030, the goal of delivering more than 10 million pure electric vehicles will be achieved.
