Double 11 Sale: Are Things Really Cheaper?

Yesterday, the Beijing Industry and Commerce Bureau announced that e-commerce companies must guarantee timely delivery and return, exchange and repair services. Previously, it also interviewed 10 large e-commerce companies, including Alibaba and JD.com, and required them to comprehensively sort out the recent online commodity prices, prevent e-commerce companies from using the method of "raising prices first and then lowering prices" to fabricate discounts and promotions, and not to fabricate transaction volumes and turnover.

It is November now, and the Double 11 promotions of major e-commerce companies have basically started, but many people still don’t know whether the products they like have really been reduced in price. Price comparison software is just one way to check, and some people doubt the authenticity of the software data, after all, these things can be manipulated by humans.

It is not impossible for some products with high premiums, such as maternal and child products, clothing, and audio-visual products, to be discounted. If you seize the opportunity to buy them, you can get a much lower price. However, there is no strength in the promotion of products with relatively fixed prices. Even if the industrial and commercial administration department comes forward to talk to e-commerce companies about not fabricating transaction volumes, it cannot control the various internal processes of the platform.

Take the 11.11 event of JD.com's DIY computer accessories as an example. The price of Intel 4790K, which many people are concerned about, has not changed at all. The 11.11 promotional price marked in red looks more like a joke. However, it is not entirely correct to say that there is no discount. You can still save some money with the previous DIY discount coupon, but unfortunately the coupon is not valid for long.

Double 11 is not necessarily a gimmick, and many products will indeed be discounted. But don't be fooled by the advertisements of e-commerce companies and lose control of your money. Remember to consume rationally and according to your needs.
