How to downgrade Win10 without loss after 30 days of regret

It’s been almost a month since the first batch of Windows 10 was pushed (July 29), and the “30-day regret” provided by Microsoft is about to expire, which refers to lossless rollback to the original operating system within the system.

For experienced users, this has little impact, but if you don’t like tossing and want to use Win10 again, what should you do? In fact, the method is very simple.

Win10's built-in rollback relies on two folders in the system, Windows.Old and $Windows.~BT (or $Windows.~WS). The difference in the latter is based on the installation method, which is not important. Microsoft's so-called "no rollback after 30 days" means directly deleting these two files.

Therefore, the solution is very simple. First, turn on "Show hidden files", find these two files and rename them (they are in the root directory of the system partition). You can also back them up to other partitions or mobile hard drives.

In this way, if you suddenly feel tired of Win10 after 30 days, you can change the file name back to the original one, enter the system and update-recovery, and downgrade the system.
