Weibo: Xiaomi is the top ten most searched brands in the automotive industry in the first half of 2024, far ahead of Tesla

Recently, Weibo's official account for hot search announced the top ten hot search events and top ten hot search brands in the automotive industry in the first half of 2024. Xiaomi Motors ranked first in both lists. Specifically, Xiaomi Motors appeared on the list of hot search brands in the automotive industry 351 times, far ahead of Tesla, which ranked second. BYD appeared on the list 78 times, ranking third.

Except for Tesla and BMW, other automobile brands are all domestic brands, including Ideal, Wenjie, NIO, Xpeng, etc.

Among the top ten hot search events in the automotive industry, Xiaomi’s car launch was on the list 95 times, ranking first, the Beijing Auto Show was on the list 39 times, and Zhou Hongyi’s car sales and embrace of new energy were on the list 19 times, ranking third.

It is understood that during the Xiaomi Auto launch conference, the two hot searches "Xiaomi SU7 price" and "Lei Jun Thor" directly exploded. Even in the top ten hot searches on Weibo, hot searches related to Xiaomi Auto and Lei Jun accounted for more than half, which is enough to reflect the high popularity of Xiaomi SU7.

It is worth mentioning that on the eve of the Xiaomi SU7 launch conference, Lei Jun also spoke frequently on Weibo, using his personal brand influence to attract huge public attention for Xiaomi SU7 and gather popularity for Xiaomi SU7.
