Will Android devices and iPhones support Windows 10's "killer app"?

Will Android devices and iPhones support Windows 10's "killer app"?
Last year, Microsoft launched the Windows Hello feature in Windows 10. With this feature, Windows 10 devices can be unlocked and logged into the system through mobile devices, and the unlocking process does not require manual entry of any password. However, this feature has a huge drawback, that is, it only supports Microsoft phones to log into the computer operating system. Now, Microsoft seems to be aware of this, and Windows Hello will support Android phones and iPhones with a larger user base. According to Microsoft's previous introduction, Windows Hello supports biometric features such as face, iris or fingerprint to unlock. Because it integrates the above-mentioned multiple biometric technologies at the same time, Windows Hello is safer and more convenient than ordinary password input. Anoosh Saboori, senior project manager at Microsoft, said, "People carry mobile devices all the time, and we can use them to improve the security of the system." Anoosh Saboori revealed to the outside world that Android phones and iPhones will support the Windows Hello feature in the future. "We have some other plans for iPhone, but the realization of mobile phone login to the computer operating system is one that will be carried out soon." Therefore, in the future, all the mobile phones in our hands can realize the Hello identity recognition function. Of course, Microsoft's purpose of launching Windows Hello is not just to log in to PC devices. This function has been supported by companies such as Google, Lenovo, Samsung and Qualcomm. In the future, Microsoft will enable Windows Hello functions in all applications, services, websites, etc. It is understood that in addition to the Windows Hello function, Microsoft is also trying to strengthen the security of the Windows 10 system in other ways. For example, when the paired device (bracelet, smart watch, mobile phone, etc.) moves out of the receiving range of the Windows 10 computer, the computer will automatically lock. However, Microsoft officials did not disclose when these functions will be realized. Industry insiders said that in the spring of 2017, Microsoft will release the next step in the Windows 10 roadmap, Redstone 2, and more relevant information may be announced at that time.
