TSMC: 2024 employee dividends of NT$140.59 billion, with each person receiving a record high of NT$2 million

According to recent news, TSMC held its first board meeting in the United States and passed seven resolutions, including the distribution of dividends for the fourth quarter of last year and the approval of employee dividends for 2024.

According to the resolution, TSMC has approved a total of NT$140.59256 billion in employee performance bonuses and remuneration (dividends) for 2024.

Among them, employee performance bonuses of approximately NT$70.29628 billion have been paid out after each quarter, and salaries (dividends) of approximately NT$70.29628 billion are expected to be paid out in July this year.

Based on the approximately 70,000 employees at the end of last year, each employee can receive an average of more than NT$2 million (approximately RMB 445,200), an annual increase of NT$513,200, or approximately 34.32%.

TSMC achieved outstanding performance last year, with full-year consolidated revenue climbing to NT$2.8943 trillion, net profit after tax of NT$1.1732 trillion, and earnings per share of NT$4.25, all of which were record highs.

As its performance climbed, the company distributed a cash dividend of RMB 4.5 per share in the fourth quarter of last year. The base date for common stock dividends was set at June 18, 2025, and the ex-dividend trading date was June 12, 2025.
