Win10 pops up junk ads on third-party browsers and pushes its own browser

Microsoft has recently started another wave of Win10 promotion. In addition to hoping that users will abandon the Win7 system, they also have other intentions even if you upgrade to Win10.

According to foreign media reports, Win10 previously sent advertising notifications to users of third-party browsers, "friendly reminders" that switching to Edge would be beneficial to battery life.

Now, Microsoft has changed its style. Netizen Brad Sams posted a picture saying that a floating reminder popped up on the Chrome app he placed on the taskbar: it is recommended to install a shopping plug-in adapted for Chrome, and clicking it will jump to the Windows Store.

This is indeed a bit unbelievable, but after clicking on it, I was shocked. The latest 6 reviews of this plug-in are all 1 star, which is extremely bad.

In response, Microsoft said, "Yes, we will test some new features from time to time, you know..."

It seems that these tricks are nothing more than trying to get you to switch to the Edge browser. No wonder these little tricks are criticized as "cancer."
