Sony selflessly contributes LDAC: Android O wireless sound quality explodes

Earlier, there were rumors that Google's next-generation son, Pixel 2, would abandon the 3.5mm headphone jack. Now it seems that the system has begun to prepare. In the first developer preview of Android O released today, Google praised Sony, saying that the latter's participation in the development helped it improve at least 30 features and fix 250 bugs. Among them, Sony also licensed the LDAC audio coding technology to Google and natively supported it on Android O. LDAC is one of the major Bluetooth coding technologies today. It was proposed by Sony and can achieve a bit rate of up to 990Kbps, that is, restore the Hires sound effect. The Snapdragon 835 processor released today only supports aptx coding, with a bit rate of 352Kbps and CD-level sound quality.
