For those Apple fans who use 16GB or 32GB iPhones, Apple is really conscientious in making room for the space in iOS 10.3. If you don’t believe it, take a look at the actual test below, you will definitely be shocked. One of the highlights of iOS 10.3 is that Apple has adopted a new AFPS file system. In addition to optimizing SSD/memory performance and increasing file confidentiality, it can also reorganize files to free up a lot of storage space. Now some users have tested it with their iPhone 7 Plus. The 256GB version is tested. The model stores 40,000 photos and more than 200 apps. After installing these things, the system's available capacity is 75.45GB. What the tester didn't expect was that after upgrading to iOS 10.3, the available capacity of this iPhone 7 Plus, which still had 75.45GB left, reached 83.26GB, which means it increased by 7.81GB. What's more surprising is that the total capacity of the device has also increased, from the original 248.5GB to 252.14GB, an increase of 3.64GB. The main reason behind Apple's "conscientiousness" is the AFPS system, which is specially designed for flash storage technology and supports 64-bit file system structure (which can support storage devices with larger capacity in the future). It also supports file cloning, which means that copying no longer takes up space.
